Share ideas, report issues, vote on other people's posts and read product updates from inside the app.
Overview
Feedback & What's new is where you tell us what to build next and where you catch up on what we've shipped. It opens our feedback board inside the app, so you can post an idea, report a problem, vote on posts from other people and read the changelog without leaving Forbidden Finance.
This screen is rolling out gradually. If you see Feedback & What's new in Settings, it's turned on for your account. If you don't see it yet, you can still reach us through Application Support or by email.
The board is open to every plan, Free included. You don't need a separate account for it. When you open the screen, the app signs you in to the board for you.
How to share feedback
Open Settings
Tap Settings in the navigation bar.
Tap Feedback & What's new
The row reads "Share ideas, report issues, and catch up on updates". The board loads in an embedded window.
Check for an existing post
Look through the board before you write. If someone has already asked for the same thing, vote for their post instead. Votes help us see what matters to the most people.
Write your post
If nothing matches, write a new post. Say what you were trying to do and what got in the way. You can also comment on other posts to add detail.
Close the board
Tap Close feedback in the top bar to go back to Settings.
What's new
We publish an entry on the changelog each time we ship something worth knowing about. There are three ways to see new entries.

| Dashboard | A See what's new banner with a count, such as "2 new updates since your last visit". Tap it to open the What's new sheet. Tap the X to dismiss it without reading. |
| What's new sheet | A list of updates, newest first, each with a title, date and short excerpt. Updates you haven't seen are marked New. Tap an entry to read the full update and its discussion. Tap View full changelog to open the changelog on the feedback screen. |
| Settings | A small badge on Feedback & What's new shows how many updates you haven't seen. While the badge is showing, tapping the row opens straight to the changelog. |
Opening the sheet or the changelog marks everything as seen. So does dismissing the dashboard banner. This is saved to your account, not your phone, so the banner and badge clear on all your devices at once.
What's public
The feedback board and the changelog live on our public feedback site, feedback.403fin.io. Keep that in mind when you write a post or a comment:
- Other people can read your posts, comments and votes.
- Never include account numbers, balances, screenshots with personal details or anything else you wouldn't want public.
- For a problem with your own account or data, contact support instead. Support requests are private.
To link your posts to you, the app shares your email address and your plan with our feedback service. It doesn't share your name or any financial data.
Tips
Frequently Asked Questions
I don't see Feedback & What's new in Settings. Why?
The screen is turned on gradually. Until you see it, you can still send ideas and reports through Application Support or by emailing [email protected].
Do I need to make an account on the feedback site?
No. Opening the screen from the app signs you in to the board automatically.
Can I post feedback privately?
No. The board is public. Use Application Support for anything private or specific to your account.
What happens to my posts if I delete my account?
When you delete your Forbidden Finance account, we also delete your profile on the feedback service.
Will the app ask me to rate it?
No. Forbidden Finance doesn't show a rating prompt. If you'd like to leave a review, you can do it from the App Store or Google Play whenever you want.
